   The Z80 DMA (Direct Memory Access) (referred to below) Z80 DMA or DMA is a powerful and versatile device for: Control and process data transmission. Its basic two-port, CPU-independent transfer management capabilities are enhanced by a series of features that optimize transfer rates and control with little or no external logic in systems using 8-bit or 16-bit data buses and 16-bit address buses.
