Overview
   The CS4420C differential input, stereo headphone driver is designed for portable devices with limited board space. The CS4420C uses a direct drive mode structure, which can generate a ground-referenced output when powered by a single power supply, thus eliminating the need for large DC blocking capacitors, saving both cost and board space, and reducing component height. Each channel of the CS4420C can provide up to 130mW drive to a 160 load, with a THD+N of only 0.006%, and a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 86dB at 217Hz, allowing the device to operate on noisy digital power supplies without the need for additional linear regulators.
