These values may be read and stored for future system AC offset compensation. The value is represented in

two's complement notation in the range of -1.0 ≤ Vacoff, Iacoff < 1.0 (-1.0 ≤ V2acoff, I2acoff < 1.0), with the binary point

to the right of the MSB.

Default = 0x800000 = 1.00 (2 kHz @ 4.096 MHz MCLK)

PulseRateE sets the frequency of E1, E2, & E3 pulses. E1, E2, E3 frequency = (MCLK x PulseRateE) / 2048 at

full scale. For a 4 khz sample rate, the maximum pulse rate is 2 khz. The value is represented in two's comple-

ment notation and in the range is -1.0 ≤ PulseRateE < 1.0, with the binary point to the right of the MSB. Negative

values have the same effect as positive. See Section 5.5 Energy Pulse Output on page 18 for more information.

TAMPER

Indicates when the meter has been tampered with.

0 = Normal operation. Energy is registered using P. (default)

1 = Tamper condition has been detected. Energy is registered using P2.

Tamper Detection Off

0 = Enables tamper detection. (default)

1 = Disables tamper detection.

E2 Output Mode

00 = Sign of Active Power (default)

01 = Apparent Power

10 = Tamper Detect

11 = Reserved

VHPF2:IHPF2 High-pass Filter Enable

00 = High-pass filter disabled on voltage channel 2 & current channel 2 (default)

01 = High-pass filter enabled on current channel 2 with all-pass filter on voltage channel 2

10 = High-pass filter enabled on voltage channel 2 with all-pass filter on current channel 2

11 = High-pass filter enabled on voltage channel 2 & current channel 2

VHPF:IHPF

High-pass Filter Enable

00 = High-pass filter disabled on voltage channel 1 & current channel 1 (default)

01 = High-pass filter enabled on current channel 1 with all-pass filter on voltage channel 1

10 = High-pass filter enabled on voltage channel 1 with all-pass filter on current channel 1

11 = High-pass filter enabled on voltage channel 1 & current channel 1
