These low current seven Segment displays are designed for applications requiring low power consumption. They are tested and selected for their excellent low current characteristics to ensure that the Segments are matched at low currents. Drive currents as low as 1 mA per Segment are available.
Pin for pin equivalent displays are also available in a standard current or high light ambient design. The standard current displays are available in all colors and are ideal for most applications. The high light ambient displays are ideal for sunlight ambients or long string lengths.

Description : BCD-to-Seven Segment Latch/Decoder/Driver

Description
This circuit contains a 4-bit latch, BCD-to-7 Segment decoder, and 7 outpt drivers. Data on the input pins flow through to the output when the Latch Disable (LE) is high and is latched on the high to low transition of the LE input. The Phase input (Ph) controls the polarity of the 7 Segment outputs. when Ph is low the outputs are true 7 Segment, and when Ph is high the outputs are inverted 7 Segment. When the Phase input is driven by a liquid crystal display (LCD) backplane waveform the Segment pins output the correct Segment waveform for proper LCD AC drive voltages.
In addition a Blanking input (BI) is provided, which will blank the display.

General Description
The MAX6850 compact vacuum-fluorescent display (VFD) controller provides microprocessors with the multiplex timing for 7-Segment, 14-Segment, or 16-Segment alphanumeric VFD displays up to 96 characters and controls industry-standard, shift-register, high-voltage grid/anode VFD tube drivers. The device supports display tubes using either one or two digits per grid, as well as universal displays. Hardware is included to simplify the generation of cathode bias and filament supplies and to provide up to five logic outputs, including a buzzer driver. 1. General Description
SSD1702 is a 240-outputs LCD driver capable of both COMMON or Segment driving, selected by hardware pin setting. It is designed for high resolution dot matrix type LCD panel for the use on PDA or terminal.
SSD1702 can be used in cascade mode to support display system with more than 240 rows or columns.
In Segment mode, 4-bit or 8-bit parallel input modes are available through pin selection.

Description : BCD to 7-Segment latch/decoder/driver

General description
The 74HC4511; 74HCT4511 is a BCD to 7-Segment latch/decoder/driver with four address inputs (A, B, C, D), a latch enable input (LE), a ripple blanking input (BI), a lamp test input (LT), and seven Segment outputs (a to g). When LE is LOW, the state of the Segment outputs (a to g) is determined by the data on A to D. When LE goes HIGH, the last data present on A to D are stored in the latches and the Segment outputs remain stable. When LT is LOW, all the Segment outputs are HIGH independent of all other input conditions. With LT HIGH, a LOW on BI forces all Segment outputs LOW. The inputs LT and BI do not affect the latch circuit. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC.
