Type  C  surface  mount  multilayer  chip  capacitors  are available on tape and reel in COG (NPO), X7R, Z5U and Y5V temperature coefficients. Five standard sizes (0402,  0603,  0805,  1206,  and  1210)  are  available  in most of the temperature coefficients - 0603 is not available in Z5U.

General Description
The MAX1894/MAX1924 are lithium-ion/lithium-polymer (Li+) battery-pack protector ICs for 3- or 4-series Li+ bat tery packs. The MAX1894/MAX1924 enhance the useful operating life of Li+ batteries by monitoring individual cell voltages and preventing over/undervoltage conditions. The MAX1894/MAX1924 also protect the battery pack against charge current, discharge current, and pack short fault conditions.
