GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The CM6802 is a green PFC/PWM. It is the new generation of ML4802, ML4841, ML4801 and ML4824-2. Its system clock frequency is generated by the external RT and CT, and then its PWM frequency is 50% of the clock and its PFC frequency is 25% of the clock. CM6802 is designed to
be pin-pin compatible with CM6800 family, ML4800 family and ML4824 family. Its PWM (DC to DC section) can be easily configured to Voltage Mode or Current Mode.   The green mode function can easily be designed so during the no load condition, its input Power can be less than 0.75Watt
without shutting off PFC. Its PFC green mode threshold and the PWM green mode threshold can separately set by selecting the proper the RC filter at ISENSE pin (pin3) and CT on RAMP 1 pin (pin 7). Power Factor Correction (PFC) alLows the use of smaller, Lower cost bulk capacitors,
reduces Power line loading and stress on the switching FETs, and results in a Power supply that fully compiles with IEC-1000-3-2 specifications. Intended as a BiCMOS version of the industry-standard CM6800, CM6802 includes circuits for the implementation of leading edge, average
current, “boost” type Power factor correction and a trailing edge, pulse width modulator (PWM). Both PFC and PWM Gate-driver with 0.5A capabilities minimizes the need for external driver circuits. Low Power requirements improve efficiency and reduce component costs.

Description : Half bridge Control IC for CCFL backlighting

General description
The UBA2071 and UBA2071A are high voltage ICs intended to drive Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFLs) or External Electrode Fluorescent Lamps (EEFLs) for backlighting applications. They can drive a half bridge circuit made up of two NMOSFETs with a supply voltage of up to 550 V, so the inverter can be supplied directly from a 400 V PFC bus.
The UBA2071 and UBA2071A contain a Controller, a level shifter, a bootstrap diode and drivers for the external half bridge Power switches. It also contains a Low frequency PWM generator, which can be used to Control the brightness level of the lamps, using an analog brightness/dimming Control voltage. PWM dimming can also be realized, using a digital PWM input signal. PWM dimming can be synchronized with other ICs. The lamp current is Controlled by means of a true zero voltage switching resonant Control principle, ensuring Lowest possible switch losses in the half bridge Power structure.
The UBA2071 is designed to be supplied by a ∆V/∆t supply from the half bridge circuit that it drives. The IC itself needs little current and if the IC is off, a clamp protects the supply voltage from getting too high.
The UBA2071A is designed to be supplied by a fixed 12 V supply. It has a Lower supply start voltage and no supply clamp.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The CM6805A and CM6806A are the Green-Mode PFC/PWM Combo Controller for High Density AC Adapter. For the Power supply, its input current shaping PFC performance could be very close to the performance of the CM6800 or ML4800 leading edge modulation average current topology.
CM6805A/CM6806A offers the use of smaller, Lower cost bulk capacitors, reduces Power line loading and stress on the switching FETs, and results in a Power supply fully compliant to IEC1000-3-2 specifications. The CM6805A / CM6806A includes circuits for the implementation of a leading edge, input current shaping technique “boost” type PFC and a trailing edge, PWM.
The CM6805A’s PFC and PWM operate at the same frequency, 67.5kHz. A PFC OVP comparator shuts down the PFC section in the event of a sudden decrease in load. The PFC section also includes peak current limiting for enhanced system reliability.

The S-8353/8354 Series can configure the step-up switching regulator with an external coil, capacitor, and diode. In addition to the above features, the small package and Low current consumption make the S-8353/8354 Series ideal for portable equipment applications requiring high efficiency.
