Description : 0.5mm and 1mm Pitch Connectors For FPC/FFC

■Features
1. Ease of Use and Space Savings
Only one finger or 6.9N (Newtons) of force is required to lock Hirose’s rotational actuator (flip-lock) as compared to using 2 fingers and 39.2N to close a FFC/FPC connector from our competition. The Flip-Lock design also allows customers to place 2 or more connectors side by side as there is no need to waste additional board space for a side latch.
2. Strengthened Flip-lock Actuator
The standard Flip-Lock requires only 2.0mm height above the board. A strengthened lock lever is available which only requires an additional 0.4mm.
3. Supports Thin FPC (0.18mm)
Hirose does not require double-sided FPC to have any additional strengthening plate or stiffener and can
therefore support a thickness of as little as 0.18mm +/- 0.05.
4. Hirose Ensures Reliability
Hirose’s patented half tuning fork contacts maintain the required normal force without relying on the connector housing. With our competitor’s conventional products the housing walls support the contact force,
which does not provide for long-term reliability.
5. Prevention of Solder Bridge
Excess solder cavity absorbs excessive solder and avoids solder bridging.
6. Three different assembly types
FH12 is offered in Top & Bottom Contact and Vertical Mount and offered in both a 0.5mm contact pitch as well as a 1.0mm contact pitch (bottom contact only).

Description : Single Coil Fan Motor Full Wave Driver

General Description
The AP1304/5 is single phase full wave drive design, which is suited for small fans (such as CPU cooling fans). The low switching noise and effective motor drive are another advantage. All functions, including lock shutdown, automatic restart, rotation detection (RD), and speed indication Output (FG) have been incorporated into one chip. When the motor is under lock condition, lock shutdown function turns off the Output current. When the lock condition is removed, the IC automatically restarts and allows DC fan to run. In addition, the RD function is to detect the motor status and the FG is to provide the rotation speed.

Description : Single Phase Hall Effect Latch

■ General Description
ATS477 that integrates Hall sensor with Output drivers is designed for electrical commutation of brush-less DC motor application. The device includes on-chip Hall voltage generator for magnetic sensing, the error amplifier that amplifies the Hall voltage, a comparator that is to provide switching hysteresis for noise rejection, the bi-direction drivers for sinking and driving large current load, and the frequency generator (FG) that provides a signal proportional to rotation speed. Internal bandgap regulator is used to provide temperature compensated bias for internal Circuits and allows a wide operating supply voltage range. Built-in protection Circuit and Output shunt Zener diodes were applied for protecting Output drivers during operating.
If a magnetic flux density is larger than threshold Bop, DO is turned to sink and DOB is turned to drive. The Output state is held until a magnetic flux density reversal falls below Brp causing DO to be turned to drive and DOB turned to sink.
ATS477 is rated for operation over-temperature range from -20 oC to 85 oC and voltage range from 3.5V to 20V. The devices are available in low cost die forms or rugged SIP-4L and Power SOP-7L packages.

Description : Hall-Effect Smart Fan Driver

General Description
AH280 is the integrated Hall sensor owned two complementary Outputs for motor’s coil driving, auto locked shutdown and auto restart functions. Functional block diagram includes that a regulator with temperature-compensated band-gap, an on-chip Hall voltage generator, a comparator, a Schmitt trigger and two current Output drivers. The regulator can provide wide operational voltage range. The Hall voltage generator is to amplify the Hall voltage due to Hall effect. A Schmitt trigger is to provide switching Hysteresis for noise rejection.

Description : CMOS CRYSTAL CLOCK OSCILLATORS

Description
The HA-A1420 Series of quartz crystal oscillators provide enable/disable 3-state CMOS compatible signals for bus connected systems. Supplying Pin 1 of the HA-A1420 units with a logic “1" or open enables its Output. In the disabled mode, Output pin presents a high impedance to the load. All units are resistance welded in an all metal package, offering RFI shielding, and are designed to survive standard wave soldering operations without damage. Insulated standoffs to enhance board cleaning are standard.
