Overview
The R76 Series is constructed of polypropylene film and double metallized polyester film as electrodes with radial leads of tinned wire. The radial leads are electrically welded to the metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. The capacitor is encapsulated in a self-extinguishing solvent resistant plastic case with thermosetting resin material meeting the UL 94V–0 requirements.

This connector is a new type to insert the ID contacts in the case. Using this method, the following merits can be gained.
1 By using the ID contact and crimping contact together, different current capacity cables can be mixed in one case.
2 After connection, the contact can be replaced in excellent maintainability.
3 Because the insulation displacement area is protected by the case, high reliability can be assured.
4 Since the insulation displacement process can be performed only by replacing the applicator of the existing crimping machine, no expensive machine for insulation displacement is required.

POLYPROPYLENE SNUBBER
SERIES MF1206
EFC Series MF1206 are polypropylene capacitors with an internal series construction of double-sided metallized carrier and foil contact plates. This series offers the advantages of a self-healing metallized dielectric and the high current/pulsing capabilities (see dv/dt Table) of a foil capacitor. Packaging options include: wrap and fill (TC, TF), radial lead box (EFR), and radial lead dip (DFR).

Four different operating currents are available for selection at 0.5 mA, 1.0 mA, 2.00 mA, and 4.00 mA. These glass axial-leaded DO-7 reference diodes are internal-metallurgical-bonded and are also available in JAN, JANTX, and JANTXV military qualifications. 3. Mechanism to Prevent Mis-insertion
This connector is equipped with the mechanism to prevent Misinsertion as follows.
① The system provides the convex area to insert the guide-key on the pin header side, and to guide it in combination with the socket convex area (MIL standard).
② The system embeds and guides the polarizing key in the socket holes.
