DESCRIPTION

General Description
The ’F350 is a specialized multiplexer that accepts a 4-bit word and shifts it 0, 1, 2 or 3 places, as determined by two Select (S0, S1) inputs. For expansion to longer words, three linking inputs are provided for lower-order bits; thus two packages can shift an 8-bit word, four packages a 16-BIT word, etc. Shifting by more than three places is accomplished by paralleling the TRI-STATE OUTPUTS of different packages and using the Output Enable (OE) inputs as a third Select level. WITH appropriate interconnections, the ’F350 can perform zero-backfill, sign-extend or end-around (barrel) shift functions.

The LS395 is a 4-bit shift register WITH TRI-STATE OUTPUTS and can operate in either a synchronous parallel load or a serial shift-right mode, as determined by the Select input. General Description
The ’F219 is a high-speed 64-bit RAM organized as a 16-word by 4-bit array. Address inputs are buffered to minimize loading and are fully decoded on-chip. The OUTPUTS are TRI-STATE and are in the high-impedance state whenever the Chip Select (CS) input is HIGH. The OUTPUTS are active only in the Read mode. This device is similar to the ’F189 but features non-inverting, rather than inverting, data OUTPUTS.
